FAQs

  • What vaccines do you require?

We require proof of up-to-date rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordetella (kennel cough).

  • Where are you located?

We’re located in the Fish Pond neighborhood. We work in a home studio, so our address will be shared during the booking process.

  • When should I bring my puppy in for grooming?

It’s best to start grooming your puppy around 3 to 4 months old. The earlier we start, the easier it is to help them feel safe and confident in the grooming process.

For the first few months, I recommend bringing your puppy in weekly or every other week for a bath and tidy. These early visits are all about positive experiences. We’ll work on getting them used to being handled, hearing the dryer, standing on the table, and learning that grooming can actually be fun!

Starting early builds trust, reduces fear, and sets the stage for a lifetime of stress-free grooming.

  • What happens if I'm late or need to cancel?

To respect everyone’s time and ensure smooth scheduling, we ask that cancellations or rescheduling is done with at least 48 hours notice to avoid being charged the full cost of your appointment

No-shows and same-day cancellations will be charged in full

If you’re running late, there’s a 10 minute grace period

We only groom one dog at a time, so missed or delayed appointments directly affect our ability to serve other clients.

  • How long does grooming take?

Grooming times can vary depending on your dog’s coat type, behavior, and how much maintenance is needed. Here’s a general guide:

    Full groom: 2–4 hours

    Bath and tidy: 2-3 hours

Short-coated bath (no haircut): 1–3 hours

Because we work one-on-one, we do allow try to allow extra time to ensure your dog is comfortable and looking their best. Working with animals isn’t always predictable, so timing can shift.

You’ll get a text about 30 minutes before pickup so you have time to head over.
