Hi! I’m Kayla, the owner and pet stylist at The Groomery.
What started as a love for animals quickly turned into something bigger. I began my journey in the pet industry in 2016, and grooming has become more than a job. It’s my craft, my passion, and my way of helping dogs (and their people) feel their best.
Over the years, I’ve continued to elevate my skills through mentorships with industry experts, grooming competitions, mentoring other groomers, and earning advanced credentials including Pet CPR & First Aid, Certified Canine Esthetician, AKC Professional Groomer (AKC-PGC) and Coat Type Specialist (AKC-CT).
Whether I’m creating a beautifully styled haircut or guiding a pet parent through coat care, my goal remains the same: to make grooming a positive, personalized experience that supports each dog’s comfort and well-being.
At home, I’m surrounded by my own little family. My dogs: Mister, Misses, Kyla, and Chai, and my cats Mabel and Cat—who fill my world with love, laughs, and plenty of pet hair.
