New Client Info & Booking process
You’re not just looking for a haircut. You’re looking for someone who takes the time to understand your dog and what makes them unique. Someone who cares about comfort, safety, and a grooming experience that feels good for both of you.
At The Groomery, every appointment begins with connection. I offer one-on-one grooming in a calm, cage-free home studio and work closely with pet parents who value clear communication, gentle handling, and high-quality care.
How to Get Started:
Step 1: Tell me about your dog
Fill out our detailed intake form. I want to know everything from their favorite treats to their least favorite grooming task.
(Please allow 72hrs for a response to all new inquiries)
Step 2: Receive Your Quote
After reviewing your form, I’ll text you with a custom quote based on your dog’s size, coat condition, and your desired grooming schedule.
(A deposit is required to reserve your appointment once we find the right fit.)
Step 3: First appointment
On your pet’s first visit, I’ll take time to help them feel at ease in the space. I’ll walk you through coat care, the products I use, and how to maintain their style at home between grooms.
It’s more than a service, it’s a partnership.

Frequently Asked Questions

We require proof of up-to-date rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordetella (kennel cough).

I work in a home studio, so my address will be shared once an appointment is confirmed.

It’s best to start grooming your puppy around 3 to 4 months old. The earlier we start, the easier it is to help them feel safe and confident in the grooming process.
For the first few months, I recommend bringing your puppy in weekly or every other week for a bath and tidy. These early visits are all about positive experiences. We’ll work on getting them used to being handled, hearing the dryer, standing on the table, and learning that grooming can actually be fun!
Starting early builds trust, reduces fear, and sets the stage for a lifetime of stress-free grooming.

To respect everyone’s time and ensure smooth scheduling, please keep the following in mind:
Cancellations or reschedules require at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid being charged the full cost of your appointment
No-shows and same-day cancellations will be charged in full
If you’re running late, there’s a 10 minute grace period
After that, a $1 per minute late fee applies
At 20 minutes late, your appointment will be canceled and charged in full
I only groom one dog at a time, so missed or delayed appointments directly affect my ability to serve other clients. Thank you for understanding and respecting this policy.

Grooming times can vary depending on your dog’s coat type, behavior, and how much maintenance is needed. Here’s a general guide:
Full groom: 2–4 hours
Bath and tidy: 2-3 hours
Short-coated bath (no haircut): 1–3 hours
Because I work one-on-one, I take my time to ensure your dog is comfortable and looking their best. Working with animals isn’t always predictable, so timing can shift, but I’ll always keep you updated!
You’ll get a text about 30 minutes before pickup so you have time to head over.
